GAS LEAK DETECTION
⚠️ CAN YOU SMELL GAS RIGHT NOW?
Do not try to locate the leak yourself. Treat it as an immediate safety issue.
If you can smell gas or believe there may be an active gas leak:
- Get everyone outside and away from the affected area.
- Avoid anything that could create a spark or flame. Do not operate lights, electrical switches, appliances or power points.
- Do not use your mobile phone while inside the affected building.
- Once you are safely outside, contact your gas distributor’s emergency service so the supply can be made safe.
- Once the immediate danger has been addressed, contact Find It Services to discuss locating and investigating the source of the leak.
If there is fire, immediate danger or someone is unwell, call 000 from a safe location.
